Gross Catholic High School is proud of its cutting-edge strength and conditioning program. Under the direction of a National Strength and Conditioning Association certified coach, programs are modeled to specifically meet the needs of all students, staff and athletes. Students may participate year-round, addressing all facets of physical conditioning including functional strength training, metabolic conditioning and nutrition. The weight room is equipped with free weights and cardio equipment, while the outdoor facility incorporates sand pit training.
Students may take both introductory and advanced levels of strength and conditioning classes for credit during the school year. A structured and progressive 8-week summer program is designed for athletes seeking to improve their strength, speed, agility and flexibility. The Gross Catholic strength and conditioning program welcomes students of all levels and abilities to participate, from college-bound athletes to novices.
