Bro. Leo Willett served as the founding principal of Gross Catholic High School from 1967 - 1974. He now resides in the Marianist Residence at the University of St. Mary's in San Antonio, Texas.
Bro. Leo is the inspiration behind a blog post by Ryan Munoz, a student at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. Ryan visits with Bro. Leo every other week as part of the school’s “Marianist Friends” program, which fosters relationships between members of the Residence community and students. “I feel that every time I go to talk to him, I can write three blogs just on what we talked about in that hour. He is a walking piece of history. He has shared so much wisdom with me,” Ryan wrote.
