Founders Week

Founders Week is January 17-20, 2012.  We will honor our Marianist Family heritage and explore the Marianist Charisms for Education.  Please join us for our celebration! 

Each day will feature a special Marianist prayer reflection by a member of our community, and the student MLC will be collecting donations for our OLN service project.  Students will also have the opportunity to "Find Fr. Chaminade" for fun and prizes!

Monday, January 16 - Martin Luther King Holiday

• No School

Tuesday, January 17 - Educate for Service, Justice & Peace

• Special Schedule:  Mass Prep Schedule
• Presentation to student body about the service project to benefit Our Lady of Nazareth Primary School in Nairobi, Kenya.  Last year, the Cougar Family raised funds to support thirteen students at the primary school.

Wednesday, January 18 - Provide an Integral, Quality Education

• Special Dress:  All students and staff to wear Marianist shirts
• Special Prayer for Canonization of Blessed William Joseph Chaminade

Thursday, January 19 - Educate in Family Spirit

• Special Dress:  Khakis and crowd shirt
• Special inspirational treat for students

Friday, January 20 - Education for Formation in Faith & Educate for Adaptation and Change

• Special Schedule:  Mass Schedule
• Mass at 9:05 am to celebrate the feast day of Blessed William Joseph Chaminade.  Celebrants:  Fr. Al McMenany, S.M. and Fr. Steve Emmanuel.  Special Guests:  Marianist Lay Affiliates and alumni MLC members
• Guest Reception at 10:15 am in north entryway
