For the past 34 years, Povondra has dedicated himself to maintaining the natural grass baseball field at Gross Catholic. With unwavering commitment, he has poured his heart and soul into this labor of love, tending to the field with care. From meticulously grooming the infield to ensuring the outfield is lush and verdant, Povondra’s attention to detail is unparalleled.
As you walk onto the field, the evidence of his hard work is evident in every blade of grass and every perfectly manicured base path.
