From The Principal

Where does the time go? We are approaching the end of October and moving right along into November. With that comes the holidays and soon semester exams and Christmas break. Don’t forget to keep looking at the calendar for updates. There are a lot of things happening these next few days, weeks and months and soon the holidays will be here.

As we move forward into our second quarter, please keep an eye on your student’s academic success. We find that the first semester goes quickly and it is easy to fall behind. Please remind them often to turn their work in on time and spend some extra time studying for tests and quizzes. Many of the students on progress report are missing daily homework and then scoring low on exams. This is a direct correlation to each other. We are also mandating an after school study hall for students on their 2nd progress report. These students will be required to attend a mandatory study hall from 3:00 to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Thank you for your continued cooperation. It truly does take a village to keep our students moving in the right direction.
